This also varies per location but as above, a common menu might include: facials, micro-needling, Neurotoxin Injections, Filler injections, Laser/IPL treatments, Kybella or other fat modification procedures, etc.
This varies by state but in Colorado a Medical Aesthetician or RN can inject under the direct supervision of a Physician or Nurse Practitioner Medical Director. A Physician Assistant can inject under the supervision of a Physician. A Nurse Practitioner or Physician can inject under their own independent license after receiving adequate education and training in aesthetics.
When procedures are done by well trained medical providers med spas are generally very safe. Always ask a lot of questions and make sure you feel comfortable with any procedure you are interesting in.
