EZ-Gel is a 100% natural, regenerative, native, and bio-stimulating gel that contains growth factors and human plasma albumin, which are derived from your own blood. EZ-Gel is created from drawing your blood, spinning it in a medical centrifuge (to separate the PRF from the blood), drawing the PRF into sterile syringes; then it is properly warmed to create a gel-like substance for the actual injections. Overall, EZ-Gel injections aim to boost collagen/elastin production, improve skin texture, and subtly restore volume with a series of treatments. 

• Of Note: While this is a great, natural injectable option, it does not fully replace the effects of HA fillers and other bio-stimulating injections like Radiesse. While EZ-Gel has may benefits, it does take time and a series of treatments to see best results, because it is working naturally within the body to boost collagen production. After a series of *at least* 3 treatments, clients can expect 2-4 months of lasting improvement from EZ-Gel in the treated area. However, the regenerative function (aka the collagen stimulation and growth) of the skin’s tissue continues to improve for up to 6-12 months post treatment. 

Keep in mind that each individual will respond differently to EZ-Gel, and there are some factors that may affect the longevity of the treatment such as: the condition of the skin before treatment, lifestyle factors, how the body/metabolism responds, and the quantity used. 

• Additionally, we encourage clients to receive maintenance treatments every 6-9 months, or yearly, to maintain their results and to continue stimulating the natural collagen and elastin growth. Like mentioned above, because each individual is different, treatment plans vary. Always consult with your provider and formulate a treatment plan customized to you!

EZ-Gel is not necessarily better than filler, and filler is not necessarily better than EZ-Gel, they are simply different injectable treatments! EZ-Gel and fillers are both facial rejuvenation treatment options that can help restore volume and soften lines/wrinkles, however they have different approaches and results.

• EZ-Gel– A natural, regenerative injectable derived from your own blood to stimulate collagen and create new and healthy cells/tissue. EZ-Gel does require a series of treatments to notice improvement, and the results are not immediate, it takes up to 6-9 months post injections to see the full benefits of this treatment. EZ-Gel is a natural treatment option that provides natural results and has little to no downtime and minimal side effects. Additionally, EZ-Gel can be injected in areas of the face that dermal filler may not be an option for (a very common area for this to happen is the under eyes.)
• Dermal Fillers– Commonly used dermal fillers are made out of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) and are used for more dramatic and immediate results. While there are some more-natural-looking fillers on the market that can also stimulate collagen such as Radiesse, they are not 100% natural and native like EZ-Gel. Most fillers do not require a series of treatments to notice immediate change and the results last around 10-12 months before re-evaluation with your provider for more is needed. Traditional HA fillers do not stimulate natural collagen production and do come with more risks and side effects compared to EZ-Gel.

There is minimal downtime associated with EZ-Gel injections. For the first 24 hours the patient should avoid touching the treated area and only apply approved products given by the injecting provider. Expect swelling to peak 24-48 hours post injections before it starts to improve. Bruising is rare with cannula, but possible, and if it does occur it is typically “pin-point” bruising from the initial injection poke and can be covered with make up after 24 hours. Side effects are typically mild and rare because EZ-Gel is natural and derived from your own blood.

However some of these mild side effects may include: redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, or initial asymmetry. More severe side effects are rare but, include: nerve damage, vascular occlusion, or infection- most of which can be avoided with an experienced injector.

A few cases of HIV and Hepatitis C have been noted at non-medical clinics where “clinicians” have not followed proper guidelines and shared blood products between patients, usually with prp facials or injections. It is CRUCIAL to see a professional medical injector for any injections, but especially when there is a risk for blood borne infections.
